Daddy finally got home late Monday night and thankfully he still had Tuesday off, so we went out and played in the snow!  We made snow angels, snow balls, got buried in the snow and just ran around.  Lots of fun! 

Blizzard!

Well, in less than 24 hours we managed to rack up 12+ inches of snow.  We can't wait to get out and play in it, but 1. we're waiting for the super strong whirling wind to die down just a smidge and 2. we're waiting for daddy to get home to play with us!  He's been stuck in Chicago since yesterday with the team.  He's supposed to be back later tonight.  Until then, we're holding out inside, cozy and warm...

Merry Christmas!

What a fun time of year with our girls!  They, mainly Whitney I guess, Lindsey just follows suit, have been been so excited for Santa to come.  She (Whitney) started bouncing off the walls on Christmas Eve because she was going "upstairs" to church with us!  It was a sweet time to be together with our little family, singing songs about the true meaning of Christmas, seeing their little heads sway back and forth with the music and watching them scribble all over the offering envelopes (just like I used to do).  Good stuff!  Christmas morning was a blast too since Santa found his way to our house.  They were super excited to see presents under the tree and the cookies, milk and carrots gone that we left for Santa and Rudolf.  It was a magical day for them!  Unfortunately, Ben had to leave later in the day for his game in Chicago the next day, but the girls and I had fun playing with all their new toys and watching "The Little Mermaid".  We are so super blessed, with our marriage, with our girls, with our family, with our friends...with our God!  Thank you God for your precious gift of Jesus to bless us!  You rock, for sure!

The Tree is Up!

The girls had a fun time decorating our Christmas tree.  We have lots of colorful, twinkling lights and colorful, glittery ornaments.  Whitney is constantly turning off the lights so she can see all the lights twinkle, so we're living in state of darkness around here.  It's the little things in life...
