Hide and Seek

This is Ben's new and improved way of playing hide and seek.  I will say, it is way more entertaining to watch.  And so far, no major injuries.

Postponed by the Rain

We've had nothing but rain for several days, so work has slowed up big time.  But there's nothing but sunny skies ahead.  They made some great progress the first day back after the monsoon.  Ben and I have been busy with meetings finalizing appliances, plumbing, cabinets, etc.  The plumber is expected to work all weekend and next week the shingles are supposed to start going on, then brick and stone starts.  So fun!

100th Day of School!

Whitney celebrated the 100th Day of School today.  They had to create a t-shirt with 100 things.  She chose tootsie rolls!  On a side note, it's hard to fill up a t-shirt with 100 tootsie rolls.

Taking Shape

While Ben and I were gone over the weekend (we took a little break by ourselves downtown), the workers were busy bees.  It's really starting to take shape now!

Hot Chocolate 5k

My friends and I, we like to run.  But when the running involves chocolate as the prize...oh, yeah, we LOVE to run!  Run a little 5k, eat a little chocolate at the finish line!  Sounds like a good plan to me!

More First Days

The girls got started back at school once we got back home.  Whitney went back to her same class that she started the school year in.  She was so excited to see her teachers and I was so thankful that they all remembered her and were excited to see her.  She just walked right in and didn't skip a beat.  Her classmates were excited to see her.  Lindsey started back at Hebron Preschool (same place as last year) and didn't skip a beat either.  It helped that her friend Elle is in her class too!  We are so thankful for all the schools we have been a part of to help make for the simplest transitions possible for our situation.  And for good little girls that just go with the flow!

It's so much fun to be living "on-site" while we are building.  It's been fun to talk with the workers, watching all the daily changes, etc...And the girls have loved watching the whole process and watching them work.
