Easter

What a day filled with love.  The love of Jesus!  The love of family!  The love of friends!  Lots and lots of love!
Since it was rainy outside, E. Bunny had to hide stuff in the house, the bathtubs to be exact!
Heading to church
Egg hunt and Didi and Paps' house!

Dying Easter Eggs

The girls love being little artists!  They worked hard on their eggs.  Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of the final products.  Not sure what we were thinking.  They did a great job and made for some delicious deviled eggs!

House Progress

This is the beginning of the drywall process...
And just a couple days later we had this...
While all this was going on inside, outside they were starting the brick work.
And a couple days later, we had this!

House Update

Well, we kinda slowed up for a couple weeks.  We just wanted to take a breather and make sure things were where we wanted them in the walls and just kinda "live" in the space for a bit.  But once things started moving again...they moved!  The windows and exterior doors are in, the siding is up, the stone work around the base is just about finished and the insulation is almost done.  Drywall is supposed to start tomorrow and brick sometime this week too.  It's really starting to look good!
Disclaimer: This is not the final siding color.  We've had a few people wonder...
Now, the insulation part has been one of my favorite things to see.  I've only watched through video since I didn't want to shred my lungs (Ben was willing to take the risk).  Anyway, we are doing foam insulation, so they spray this mist onto the wood, in, what looks like a paint sprayer, and instantly (no joke) it grows to fill in the walls.  It's pretty amazing.  And apparently toxic to inhale since spacemen are needed to install it.
Here you can see how it grows in just a few seconds.  Neat stuff!

The Big 6!

Whitney Grace turned 6.  She did it.  That girl is such a blessing.  Don't know what life would be like without her.  She brightens our days, that's for sure!  She got to pick out all meals on her big day.  So, breakfast was a doughnut and a french toast sandwich, lunch was Subway and Sun Chips and for dinner we went to Chuck E Cheese to play games and eat pizza!  Then back home for cupcakes and presents.  Big day for a big 6 year old!
Rides, games, a big mouse and prizes!
Yummy cupcakes!
Me and my girl
A princess watch from her sister, who was soooo excited to be giving it!
A rock tumbler...for my outdoors-y, science-y, princess-y girl
And her first "big girl" Bible.  Love, love, love that she was so excited for this gift!  And that her daddy was teaching her all about it!
Sweet things!
Me and my squeeze, who love that birthday girl so, so much!
