Wacky Wednesday!

Whitney had Wacky Wednesday at school to celebrate Dr. Suess' birthday.  We did it up good!  Lindsey didn't have Wacky Wednesday, but we convinced her she was dressed wackily...She wants to be just like her big sister!

Just One Reason My Friend Mandy Rocks!

Mandy is the ultimate get-together planner.  She gets the job done.  She's done this on numerous occasions, whether it's a small girls night out or an extended trip.  This time she planned our (mostly) annual winter mountain trip.  Just some facts from the trip:

* Five families

* ten adults

* thirteen kiddos

* five bedrooms

* three bathrooms

* a TON of food

* five rc cars

* two hikes

* one glorious waterfall (again, by Mandy's planning)

*some great music

* one TREMENDOUS time of fellowship!

So thankful for these, and all our friends, that God allows us to share life with!

The "Pipe"

Sweet little Whitney had to get a palette separator in the roof of her mouth to correct her crossbite.  She, for some reason, calls it her pipe.  I guess because in her mind anything metal is a pipe.  I don't know...She makes us laugh.  She's been quite the trooper with it, was sore for a couple days and could only eat soft foods.  She'll have it for six to nine months and can't eat any "sticky" foods in the process.  The absence of fruit snacks from her life is a sad situation for an almost five year old.  Yes, this was after dinner, and yes, that is broccoli caught up in there...
