Christmas Round 2

We had Christmas with my family after the rain-soaked winning football game.  Some of us looked like wet dogs, but we didn't care.  It was fun to all be together!
We also celebrated Grandpa's birthday with a little birthday breakfast!

Panthers vs. Saints

The rematch.  The Saints killed us on their home turf a couple weeks ago.  Today was a different story though.  Today was a great defensive game.  And it poured.  I mean torrential downpour for about 20 minutes straight.  And I took the girls.  They were troopers.  Whitney had help from Grammy and Aunt Meghan.  And Lindsey had Grandma building a "tent" for her.  So thankful for the help.  It poured.  Finally it slowed way up.  It looked like with were going to lose, but then, with a minute left, we completed three passes in a row.  More than it seemed like we had done all day, and the last one was a touchdown!  Game over.  Done.  Secured a spot in the playoffs.  Next week at Atlanta we can secure a bye week, home field advantage and become NFC South Division Champs!
Ben got one of these bad boys before the game because he had been feverish and sick for two days prior to the game.  Sick one day...game the next...

Lindsey School Christmas Program

Sweetest little donkey you've ever seen.  Lindsey sang her little heart out!  She even had a solo that she worked so hard on.  She killed it when it was time!  Hard to believe this is our last preschool Christmas program.

She's Really Going

The double wide is getting split apart and prepared for her departure.  Thanks to our friends for the stalker reports!

Santa!

The girls were fired up to make the trip to see Santa and fill him in on what they wanted this year.  For Whitney, a last minute change from an American Girl doll to a Flutter Bye Fairy and for Lindsey, a bell for her bike.  I told you that girl loves her bike!  After Santa, at Bass Pro again, we had to go see the fish tank and make at least one lap around the store, per daddy.  And also do Whitney's favorite, pick a set of animal tracks to follow all throughout the store.  Frantically, I might add.  With no attention to those around her, human or display cases.  After Bass Pro we headed to dinner at Texas Road House.  It's somehow become the tradition, the girls love the peanuts. :)
Waiting...
Yes!
Shooting...
and slot cars
and coloring
and crafting
and catching him in a 4 wheeled machine.  It was only a matter of time really...
They love Santa!
But they love this guy even more!

Worn Out

We've been burning the candles at both ends recently.  This poor girl is plum worn out after doing some shopping with daddy and waiting to pick up sissy at school.

TE Christmas

Third annual tight end Christmas party.  The Olsen's know how to throw a good one!  A private chef, three types of meat, various sides...scrumptious!  Should've gotten a picture of the guys, but here's Tate and the girls in their Christmas jammies.  The twins were already in bed.  Everyone is growing up fast!
