The girls had to celebrate their daddy a day early this year since Ben and I were leaving to go out of town on the actual day. Now that Whitney is older, it's fun to let her pick out gifts for people. She really thinks about it and gives good reason. She initially wanted to get him a "tool to work on stuff". Once we got to the tool section in Target she wasn't really impressed with the selection so as we looked around a bit. When she saw lanterns and said that's what she wanted to get him because "that way he could see out in the shed because there isn't any light out there, mommy." So cute and so thoughtful. Lindsey of course agreed with what her big sister picked out. I'm so proud of my daughter's daddy. He's a super duper man!
