Folly Beach

Chad and Mandy invited us to join in on her family's beach vacation to Folly Beach, SC.  We're always up for a good time with the Hutcheson's, Lockhart's and Henderson's so we happily accepted!  We had a lot of fun times this year and were able to do somethings that we weren't able to do last year at the beach.  Like...

Sit still.  

The girls were enough older that we could actually sit and relax this year.  They loved the water so much.  Whitney has become quite the little swimmer and Lindsey isn't the least bit afraid to tackle the waves.  The beach itself was awesome.  Not too busy, a short walk to get set up, shells to find, but Ben's favorite part, and I would have to agree, is that we didn't have to get the kids in the car the entire week.  Everything was in walking distance.  That is a huge accomplishment!  And made for happy kiddos!  Here's more of what we filled our week with:

Lots of playing around

Chased the birds away from our snacks

Hung out at the fishing pier

Tried to open up clams

Hit the waves

Looked for shells

Played with daddy

And mommy

And friends, building lots of sandcastles

Ate snacks

Ate dinner

Ate Hawaiian Ice

Danced

Rested

Looked cute in a hat

Played in the icky sea foam

Flew a kite

Jumped off the sand dunes

Tried to take some pictures on the beach.  We got a few.

And had a fabulous time!
