Sweet little Whitney had to get a palette separator in the roof of her mouth to correct her crossbite. She, for some reason, calls it her pipe. I guess because in her mind anything metal is a pipe. I don't know...She makes us laugh. She's been quite the trooper with it, was sore for a couple days and could only eat soft foods. She'll have it for six to nine months and can't eat any "sticky" foods in the process. The absence of fruit snacks from her life is a sad situation for an almost five year old. Yes, this was after dinner, and yes, that is broccoli caught up in there...
