Garden. Round Two.

Last year, the deer won.  The weeds won.  Not so this year my friends.  We are going to beat our enemies.  We have prepared for the battle.  We've doubled the size.  That way our zuchinni and squash vines have plenty of room.  We worked fertilizer and Round Up into the dirt when we tilled.  We have human hair around the perimeter.  We have a perfume drenched shirt hanging in a tree in close proximity.  It smells real nice.  We are in the process of laying out newspaper for weed prevention.  We are on it this year.  The girls helped plant a few seeds.  Then we "needed" them to water.  This lasted for a few minutes, then it turned into a water fest that ended with all three soaked and in their undergarments.  They had so much fun and Christa and I loved listening to them laugh together.  In the mean time, you can be praying for our garden. No, seriously. Really.
