Bye Week in Ohio

With Whitney in school now, our usual trip to Ohio after the season isn't going to happen so we opted to head back to Ohio for a quick trip to say hello to some family and friends on Ben's bye week.  The farm was harvesting so the girls got to spend some time in the fields and in the corn and in the tractors.  They always love that.  We also got to visit with my parents and my aunt and uncle.  My aunt was recovering from hip surgery so we were thankful for the timing that we got to see her when we did.  We also took the girls to see Ohio Stadium which was fun for them to see that and run around on the field.  And the girls got to take in their first high school football game, at none other than Unioto High School.  When we were walking in Whitney said, "I think I heard them talk about the Top Cats!"  The Top Cats are the cheerleaders for the Panthers.  It was then that I realized she was probably in for a big disappointment since the only thing she has to compare to is NFL games.  They really liked the game though and thought it was cool that that was where daddy played and mommy cheered.  We'll take it since in a few years that won't be "cool" anymore. :)
