Yucky Tonsils

I'm going to make a long story, short.  Lindsey has had swollen tonsils since last June, like two huge pieces of cauliflower back there.  We were told just to watch them, that is takes awhile for swelling to reduce in tonsils and three year olds especially can have enlarged tonsils during development that eventually go down.  Ok.  We watched and waited.  The rest of summer and all fall.  But when she started choking on them by just drinking water and snoring and waking up during the night, we decided we needed to head back to the ENT.  Sure enough he decided those suckers needed to come out!  So we did it!  The surgery was last Friday (2/1) and she has been doing awesome!  We fully believe its because there were so many people praying for that girl.  That day and still.  She came home the day of the surgery and ate macaroni and cheese for dinner!  She's definitely been taking full advantage of unlimited ice cream and popsicles.  Whitney and daddy may be too.  Not me, though, of course. :)  We took the week off from school and broke the rules yesterday by going to play at the park.  It was just too beautiful to keep her inside.  We are so thankful for the doctor and that Lindsey did so well and is doing so well.  Such a sweet testament to the power of prayer!!!
Snuggle time with daddy before heading back to surgery.
Big girl had no idea what was coming.  She did perfectly.
Ice cream at home a few hours later.
We also snuck out to do a little kite flying the other day
