Gone to Iowa (and Ohio)

We officially kicked off our summer with a road trip to Des Moines, Iowa.  What's in Des Moines you ask?  Cousins!  Than and Jennifer have lived out there for a few years now and since we haven't been there, we decided to go check it out!  The kids had a great time playing together, dress up, slip n slide, smores, Sky Zone, movies...We even got to celebrate Andrew's 5th birthday!  Fun to the max!  Grammy and Grandpa came out too to join in on the fun.  They actually took the girls back to Ohio for the week while Ben and I headed back home to work on things around the house.  We are thankful for the time to get some stuff done and glad the girls had fun in Ohio, but we are even more glad that they are back home with us.  We missed those little sweet faces!
