The girls had a fun time collecting candy over at the Olsen's neighborhood again this year. Full size candy bars again this year. Whitney was Smurfette and Lindsey was Nala, from The Lion King. The Olsen kiddos followed the Toy Story theme, Buzz Lightyear (Tate), Woody (TJ) and Jesse (Talbot). Fun night...but candy must go away!

Off Weekend
Since Ben had a Thursday night game last week, he was off Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which almost never happens. We took full advantage and spent a lot of good time together. Saturday especially we jammed packed it full. Bike ride to a local pizza spot for lunch, then a trip to the YMCA for swimming, followed by family movie night! We all loved spending all the quality time together!

Pumpkin Carving
The girls came up with their own designs this year. Daddy had to do some editing due to their elaborate little minds. For some reason this year they were a little more grossed out with the goo. I had to remind them that this wasn't nearly as yucky as swimming in the mud pits they waller around it back home! :)
Two wheeler!
Lindsey is riding her bike without training wheels! Truth be told, this happened almost a month ago. I know, I know, we dropped the ball. We didn't even get any pictures of the process or of her even riding until today. Bad. And she loves her bike. She's on it almost every day! And she is so proud of herself. She's really not going to like us when she's older. Second child, no pictures of this significant event in her life. And of course it's documented with Whitney, the older sister...hopefully we can make it up to her. :) Good news is, we don't have any pictures or video of her putting her face to the pavement. Only pretty, sweet pictures of her enjoying her new talent! She worked so hard and was so determined to learn. She had been asking for a few months, but we really didn't think she was ready. And then it happened, we had a bike riding play date with her friend Thomas. When we got to the park to ride, Thomas got his bike out the car...and her face immediately dropped. "Mommy, Thomas doesn't have training wheels." Oh, mercy, look out. She was devastated. And from that moment on, she was adamant that we teach her to ride on two wheels. It took her about four sessions with daddy to get it down, but once she got it, she was OFF!

Pumpkin Patch
We headed back to the patch we went to last year with the maze and hay ride and toys. This year we tried to teach the girls how to play tether ball. I think Ben and I decided we need to install that at the new house. Although, as I quickly learned, going up against him is not fair. The corn maze was a hit again and this year they didn't have a "cheat sheet" to give. We were a little intimidated, but with just a little help, we thankfully made it out. The girls had fun in the wagons and picking out the perfect pumpkin. Lindsey was able to decide fairly quickly. Whitney on the other hand, felt the need to scour the entire field before deciding on the perfect one, which once we got home, we discovered was already rotting on the bottom! Ha! Lesson learned there. Love the fall. Especially when its not blistering cold to do fun outdoor stuff!

Panthers vs. Rams
It was a good and feisty win for the Panthers! There was lots of scuffling, penalties and even an ejection, of which Ben did his part to happily send him off. :) We had some fun visitors up from Georgia, Matt and Alisa, Clay and Rachael, and Rob, Merideth and sweet Shelby Claire. We did a lot of hanging out, playing and the mamas did a little shopping! Fun, fun weekend!
YOU'RE OUTTA HERE!!!
Fun at the food trucks Friday night
And fun at the stadium, riding a "horsey"
