The official name of our winter mountain trip. This is the third year we have been a part of it and it is one of the most fun trips we take during the year. This year we had 12 adults and 14 kiddos. Outnumbered, but we didn't hear a peep from those kids all weekend long. They all got along so well, no fighting, no whining. Just pure fun! There was hiking, singing, rc car-ing, eating, dancing, game playing, talking, napping, life sharing...just so much goodness. And such a good and well needed break for our family. The time away from the hustle and bustle just warms my heart!
Lindsey playing some basketball with the boys
Mandy is a pro at finding places to hike to waterfalls!
Minus a couple kiddos here, but a sweet, sweet crew!
You KNOW they were playing in that water as fast as possible!
Mike D. and Jacob decided to scale a very high wall
And then Mike D had to come down...these pictures don't do it justice, but this was not a smart idea :)
The next day we went to Tallulah Gorge...all 1000+ steps!
I didn't get all the families. Fail. This is Ben photo bombing the Dickinsons.
The Jenkins
The Pognants
Kallie, Addison and Lindsey playing games and giggling. Happy hearts right there!
And on the ride home we stopped to visit the Goats on the Roof...just a little trinket store on the side of the road. They had 3 day old baby goats. Probably one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
